Welcome to Cactus Pups Academy
We launched our program this year with a simple goal — to give every Aussie puppy the best possible start before they go home. At Cactus Pups Academy, we focus on raising well-rounded, confident companions and setting both our Aussie puppies and their families up for success from day one.
As a small, hands-on program, we keep things intentional so each Aussie puppy receives the time, care, and attention they deserve. Our dogs are raised in a home environment, surrounded by everyday sights, sounds, and experiences that help them transition smoothly into family life.
Before heading to their forever homes, each Aussie puppy begins basic training, including sit, wait, an introduction to potty training, and early object exposure to build confidence. This foundation helps create a smoother adjustment and sets both the Aussie puppy and their new family up for success.
Every Aussie puppy leaves us fully vetted and thoughtfully matched with families we take the time to get to know. Our support doesn’t end at pickup — we’re here as a continued resource throughout your journey together.
Meet the Parents
Nassure Cookie Crumbles
ASAK Cookie, registered with the American Stock Dog Registry, is our beautiful red merle Mini Aussie with a heart as sweet as her name. She has a wonderfully loving personality and thrives on being part of the family in everything we do.
Whether it’s boating trips, dune adventures, camping under the stars, or simply snuggling up at home, Cookie is always happiest by our side. Her gentle nature, loyalty, and playful spirit make her truly special.
She is an incredible mom, and we truly see her kind, affectionate personality shine through in her Aussie puppies.
Desert Blooms Left for Good
AKA Sebastian, registered with the Australian Shepherd Club of America, is our handsome red tri Standard Aussie. On the smaller side of the standard, he carries a compact, athletic build paired with an endlessly joyful personality.
Sebastian is a bouncy, happy boy who lives for play—especially anything involving a flying disc. He is currently in training with the goal of becoming a professional disc dog competitor and is already showing strong promise, natural drive, and focus.
Beyond his athletic ability, Sebastian has a wonderfully puppy-like personality. He is friendly, social, and gets along exceptionally well with our other dogs. As a proven stud, he brings not only temperament and intelligence but also a calm, confident presence within our program.
We are very proud of Sebastian and confident that his intelligence, structure, and joyful spirit will continue to shine through in his offspring.
